Clean sheets and room, good location close to the open market.
Too noisy outside. Staff not helpful, chinese speaking but veery bad english or no italian speaking. One common use computer in the corridor
Wasn't as noisy as made out to be in the reviews, the room was very spacious and clean, working air conditioner and free internet(though my phone wouldn't connect to it the laptop did just fine) shared bathroom was kept clean and was spacious. In a great location if you plan on having day trips using the trains which we were doing. Fridge in the room which was useful for keeping water cold or if you want to buy anything else yourself.
Got lost trying to find it and stumbled across it when a couple were entering (for anyone who is going in the future my tip would be look for 'Miyabi sushi' restaurant. it's the building next to it with the huge wooden doors)
Good location didn't seem to notice the noise.
Hotel staff wasn't very helpful when wifi wasn't working and bathrooms could have been a little bit cleaner.
It was very affordable for us 4 college students, the price for four people was pretty good about 22 euros a person, and the location was awesome, it was right in the middle of everything (5 min from shopping strips, duomo, bars). We had our own bathroom and the room was pretty clean for the most part.
The door to our room literally did not lock one time when we were going out, since there is not always someone at the front desk we were lucky we found someone that could help us fix it otherwise it would have completely ruined our night. The front desk staff was not there during checkout and it was kind of confusing
The room was spacious and for 4 person it was wonderful even though we stay a night only.
The wifi hotspotis only at the reception area and not in rooms bathroom was small.
This is not a Hotel but renting out of serviced rooms, and reminded me of my young hostel days. If you are not fussy it is adequate, the rooms are well sized, the shower/toilet (if you book ensuite) is also quite adequate. There is only someone present between 9am and 8pm. You geta front door key and your room key. The place is within walking distance to most important places of interest, and is one minute away from a market where all sorts of food are sold, and with a couple of restaurants, while outside there is an open clothes/souvineers market
Because this place is next to a busy street, it is very noisy even at night, and if you are like me you will miss your sleep. The windows do not adequately insulate you from the noise.
The use of the pc to check email
It was sometimes difficult to find a staff person
This is my 2nd time to stay here, it is easy to find, near the Train station and shopping streets.
There were some electric problems while we stayed there at night but there is no staff to help us, we had to call them by our phones. We'd like to recommend the hotel to have the staff at night time.
We got towels and the location was nice.
The power was out the majority of our stay and there was no heat. Also our key broke in the lock the last night.
Good location ,friendly staff ,but some of them can't speak English
a nice room with friendly staffs
the wifi cannot use in the room and is not available at night
Close to station and markets. Very big room and big, new bathroom.
It was a pensione ,which was fine for us. Not really a hotel
It was close to the train station.
The safe did not work. Our room was very loud, it was right off the main street. We heard people talking and mopeds til late in the evenings and sanitation trucks early in the morning.
Very nice hotel, close to the station and to the historical center of florence. The staff was great, very kind and helpfull. I am greek and the receptionist was from Cyprus so we coomunicated very well. The other members of the staff were friendly and spoke english very well. I went with my girlfriend and enjoyed it. There was even some free food in our room and an extra bed. The room was better than the pictures. The hotel is affiliated with some restaurants so we get a discount. Only complain: We got something to eat from sabatino(afilliated with the hotel) and we found a little spider in it. I asuume that this has nothing to do with the hotel though.
Need some thinking... maybe there should always be someone in the reception, for security reasons although i enjoyed how free we were.
The location was excellent. It was just a block and a half or so away from the S.M. Novella train station and is a good location for walking to the historic center in Florence where all the attractions are located. The wi-fi in the rooms was pretty good, compared to other hostels that we stayed at. It appears to be a family run business, which was cool for the most part...
There was a lot of noise - which is to be expected in the middle of the city. The hostel is not very well marked - it's just a floor in a building with just a little sign marking the location, so the first time we got there we walked right by it. The website says that they accept credit/debit, but when we got there we were told that we couldn't and that we had to in cash. They were pretty understanding when we had to give them cash later, though.
